Lille coach Christophe Galtier backed Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to come good despite poor away record on goals.
The 20-year-old Nigeria international has enjoyed a blistering start to his career with Les Dogues after scoring seven goals and create two assists in ten Ligue 1 appearances for the club following his arrival from Belgian outfit Sporting Charleroi in the summer.

Osimhen is yet to notch an away goal this season, with all of seven league goals coming from five matches at Stade Pierre Mauroy but Super Eagles attacker failed to found back of the net over the weekend as Lille fell 2-1 to Toulouse on Saturday with the visiting team suffered their third Ligue 1 defeat of the season.
However, Les Dogues manager Christophe Gatlier has defended the Nigerian international, saying he is not to be blamed as he told reporters.
"We lose as a team and win as a team. Osimhen is part of the team. Collectively, we will have to do better away from home, not just Osimhen. It’s for the entire team,”
Osimhen and Lille hope to get their first maximum point as they welcome La Liga giant Valencia at Stade Pierre Mauroy in the Champions League matchday three encounters on Wednesday night.
