Liverpool legend John Aldridge has warned the Reds against Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar in their upcoming clash in the Champions League at the Anfield, according to report.

Aldridge branded the Brazilian striker as the 'biggest football cheat on the planet' ahead of the Champions League clash against the French Champions.

Alridge writes for Liverpool Echo and he has insisted that: "Liverpool have to be careful when they face Neymar because for me he's the biggest cheat in world football.

"I couldn't believe some of his diving and playacting at the World Cup in Russia.

"He's one of the most gifted players but he lets football down with his antics.

"Liverpool have to be canny because the PSG attacker will be doing everything he can to gain an unfair advantage at Anfield on Tuesday night.

"We need the referee to be strong and we need our defenders to avoid any silly challenges."

Neymar and fellow PSG will look to start the Champions League on a positive note when they visit Anfield on Tuesday for their Champions League opener.
