Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ready splash cash in the summer as he ready to sell Nigerian star Taiwo Awoniyi & Co to raise £100m to battle Manchester City for Premier League title next season.

The Reds finished second in the league with just one point adrift holders Cityzens but the German tactician has already sanctioned to offload the fringe players in others to boost his squad in the transfer window from next month.

According to Daily Mail reports that Liverpool wants a summer clear out with Awoniyi, Marko Grujic, Harry Wilson, Nathaniel Clyne, goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, Rafa Camacho, Ryan Kent, Sheyi Ojo, Ovie Ejaria and Daniel Sturridge.

The 21-year-old Nigeria U23 star signed for the Reds back in 2015 from Imperial Academy in Lagos, however, the Ilorin-born has been unable to get a work permit which has prevented him from playing for the Merseyside club with Premier league runner up demanding £10m for 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner.

As a result of Awoniyi failing to gain a work permit, the centre forward has been sent out on loan to the likes of FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, Royal Mouscron and Gent in recent years and The Nigerian is now on a second loan stint at Stade Le Canonnier and has scored 12 goals in 37 appearances.

Hertha Berlin are keen to sign Grujic on a permanent deal with Liverpool asking £20m after the midfielder has been in decent form this season by scoring five goals in 21 Bundesliga games and they are demanding a similar fee for Derby County loanee Wilson who netted 16 times in 42 Championship matches for Frank Lampard side, who have reached the play-off final.

However, Nathaniel Clyne is available for around £15m following his loan to Bournemouth, while goalkeeper Mignolet is also weighing up offers and would cost around £14m.
