Liverpool is set to pay extra cash to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig this month after the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, according to report.

Liverpool has already paid a €75m transfer fee for Kieta during the last summer and he is supposed to move to Anfield next summer.

The Reds are now willing to offer an extra €20m to bring the Guinea international to England.

Leipzig’s directors have refused the offer initially but it seems they have a rethink about the issue and they are set to buy the idea in a bid to fund a move for Benfica super kid Umaro Embalo.

After victory over Schalke, RBL and former Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi stated: "Naby is an incredibly important player for us. He showed today that he wants to continue playing with us."

Liverpool will be keen to add the player to their squad in a bid to compete for the top four in this season.
