Spanish coach Luis Enrique has reacted to the 4-1triumph over Wales in their friendly match on Thursday evening at the Cardiff Stadium.

Borussia Dortmund forward Paco Alcacer scored a brace while Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and Real Betis centre-back scored one each for Spain, Sam Vokes was able to get a consolation for The Dragons.

Enrique gave opportunities to the fringe players but he is expected to add more strength to the team when they face England at the Benito Villamarin.

"I have seen so many of the things that we have spoken about tonight," Luis Enrique said in his post-match press conference.

"The team were very involved from the first minute and had an almost perfect attitude."

Luis Enrique also discussed his happiness with the competition amongst the squad and joked that journalists would not be able to predict the starting XI for the England match.

"I love the competition," he said, "it means we can bring in four or five players and they still have a very high level.

"It's difficult for me, but positive, they are good players with a lot of hunger.

"Yes there are clues [for the England game] in those who have not played, but you won't be able to guess more than four or five.”

Up next for Spain is the game England in The Europe National League on Monday.
