It was reported in January by L’Equipe that the French ace would remain at Los Blancos for the rest of the season after it was claimed by Marca that he would secure a move to Bayern Munich during the winter transfer period.
Lucas, 23, broke through for Atleti during the 2015-16 campaign and has gone on to make 110 appearances under Diego Simeone, winning a Europa League and European Super Cup.
Lucas can play in the left-back and in the centre
half, he played majorly from the left back both in club and country.
Bayern Munich is prepared for major squad overhauling during the summer and they need to pump in more cash to sign their prime targets.
