Sergio Aguero's brace sends Manchester City to the next round of the FA Cup after the Argentine forward scored two second-half goals to cancel Ashley Barnes first-half strike at the Etihad Stadium in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

Manchester City started the game in an offensive manner with Pep Guardiola men going for the goal in the opening minute.

Manchester City should have gone ahead with David Silva shot blocked in the 11th minute, Ilkay Gundogan strike was also blocked by Burnley defender.

The home team went ahead with Ashley Barnes strike in the 25 minutes, Gundogan went for a goal in the 29th minutes by the Burnley defence was solid to keep threat off.

The visitors almost equalized through Danilo but the Brazilian missed the attempt, City went on to get the equalizing goal but Burnley was disciplined enough to hold their lead for their entire 45 minutes as Ashley Barnes’ goal is the only difference between the two sides.

The second half started with City on the move to get the equalizing goal as Gundogan fine assist to Sergio Aguero in the 58th minute and in quick succession Aguero got the second for the Etihad outfit.

Manchester City continued to dominate as they pushed further for more goals.

City got the third goal in the 71st minute through Leroy Sane effort after a sublime assist from David Silva.

Guardiola made his first substitute as Olexandr Zinchenko made way for Kyle Walker in the 72nd minute and in the 76th minute, Kelvin de Bruyne replaced Gundogan.

The lead was extended to 4-1 by Bernardo Silva with just eight minutes to end the game and City marched to the next round with the FA Cup.
