Man City 5 -0 Swansea: Cityzens give five-star performance

Manchester City put a classic display in their 5-0 win over Swansea in the Premier League match on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City broke the deadlock through David Silva strike in the 12th and Raheem Sterling doubled the lead in the 16th minute, Manchester City continued to dominate and as Swansea continued seat back to defend in their own half.

Pep Guardiola's men continued to edge closer to get the third goal but defensive display of Swansea kept the scoreline down in the first half.

Manchester City pushed forward in the second half as Kevin de Bryne shot went inches wide of the target, The Belgian fired in a powerful shot in the 53rd minute to beat Swansea goalkeeper to the third goal.

Swansea came close to get a goal put the header went wide off the target, Manchester City was awarded a penalty a Gabriel Jesus put the Brazilian was denied by the post but Bernardo Silva was in place to score it for the Etihad outfit in the 64th minute.

Guardiola withdrew De Bruyne for Yaya Toure in the 64th minute of the match and in the 7ist minute Raheem Sterling was replaced by Phil Folden.

Benjamin Mendy was brought in to replace Fabian Delph in the 74th minute, Swansea almost scores their first goal but the visitor was denied the chance to register a goal. Yaya Toure flicked a ball to Gabriel Jesus to grabbed the fifth goal of the encounter in the 89th minute.
