He scored 26 goals in all competitions as the French outfit claimed their first league title in 17 years and reached the last four of the Champions League.

Arsenal has been credited with an interest in taking the teenager to the Premier League. But Spanish football expert Graham Hunter believes Cityzen is currently his most prominent Premier League suitor.

manchester City is talking actively to Mbappe’s representatives and saying City is the best place to develop his career, where he could work with Pep Guardiola and be paid handsomely,” he told Sky Sports News.

“Real Madrid, meanwhile, are wooing Mbappe’s agents saying they will break the transfer record for this kid. Zidane, of course, has known Mbappe since he was 14.

“The battle is with Manchester City and they are persuasive and Mbappe is now thinking long and hard about London, Madrid, Paris and now Manchester. Cityzen is in that battle.

“At the moment it’s hard to see him choosing Monaco over one of those, but none of the clubs know who is favorite to sign this exceptional 18-year-old.”
