Tottenham Hotspur will aim to become the first side to beat Manchester City in the Premier League this season when they head to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Citizens are seeking a 16th consecutive Premier League win on Saturday, having extended their record to 15 against Swansea in midweek.

Team News

Vincent Kompany is a doubt for City having missed the leader's trip to Swansea in midweek.

Benjamin Mendy and John Stones are still absent through injury.

Spurs are without suspended Davinson Sanchez and long-term absentees Victor Wanyama and Toby Alderweireld.

Head to Head

Manchester City have failed to win any of the last four meetings between the two sides, losing three and drawing one since their last victory in May 2015.

The most recent encounter finished 2-2 at the start of the year, with the Lilywhites recovering from a couple of goals down in the second half.

Cityzen have scored at least two goals in six of their last seven home matches against Tottenham in all competitions, meanwhile - the exception being a 2-1 win for the Londoners in the 2015-16 campaign.

Recent Form

Manchester City have won five and lost one from their last previous matches, while Tottenham won three, draw two and lost one from the same number of games.
