Manchester City will host Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, here are few of the  facts you need to know ahead of the knockout clash between the two English teams.

MANCHESTER CITY:

Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho is facing a battle to be passed fit. It would be a huge blow for the home side if the midfielder doesn’t make it. On the other hand, Bernardo Silva should be deemed fit to start.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR:

Harry Kane will miss the tie due to the injury he sustained in the first leg of the encounter and Dele Alli is a major doubt for the clash, Eric Dier, Serge Aurier and Erik Lamela are all definitely missing for Spurs.

The last time these two met at the Etihad was in December 2017, where City ran out emphatic 4-1 winners - the same scoreline on Wednesday night would be enough to see Guardiola's side progress to the semis.

Spurs have been finding the right balance in Europe and they are have won some games to propel them this far, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have shown a great form it was evident in the first leg of the encounter after they defeated Manchester City in the first leg to have a foot in the semifinal.
