Man United & Chelsea target fined £130,000 by his club

Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has been fined around £130,000 according to a report

The England left back who criticize his team for a lack of transfer activity in this summer so far, Spurs are the only Premier League side who have not made any signing - and also hit out at owner Daniel Levy's strict wage structure, which caps player pay at £100,000 a week.

The 27-year-old who later issued an apology for his "ill-judged" comments but, according to The Sun, he has now been docked two weeks' wages for the outburst.

The Sun claims that he was hauled in front of the director of football operations Rebecca Caplehorn to receive a ticking-off for the interview, which was arranged without the club's knowledge.

Rose is said to have received "a hero's welcome" from his teammates, however, who "applauded" him for voicing general concerns in the Spurs dressing room about Levy's pay policy.
