Portugal midfielder, Andre Gomes maybe the next player on his way to Manchester United as the premier league side have opened talks for the £30m-rated midfielder with Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

However, after arriving for £29.3m, Gomes failed to win a regular place in the Barcelona team as he made just 17 league starts under Luis Enrique and was subbed off in 12 in a season the Catalan club finished behind the Los Blancos.
United manager, Mourinho, is a huge fan of Gomes according to AS claim and is keen to get him to Old Trafford ahead of Juventus who have also shown interest in the player.
A deal looks likely this summer as both Gomes and Mourinho are represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes.
Manchester United are also close to signing Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata after completing the signing of Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
