Manchester United target Gareth Bale has admitted he could dump Real Madrid to join the Chinese football revolution.

The 28-year-old banged hat-trick in Wales' 6-0 thrashing of China - in the China Cup and completed a successful evening for new boss Ryan Giggs, with Sam Vokes bagging a brace and Harry Wilson also netting on only his second appearance since his debut as a 16-year-old four years ago.

Bale’s future is increasingly in doubt at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he is no longer guaranteed a start under Zinedine Zidane with the manager has preferred to start Marcos Asensio and Lucas Vazquez ahead him.

The forward has been with a return to Premier League with Manchester United and former club Tottenham Hotspurs want to bring him back to North London but the Welsh winger has said he could move to the Far East.

Bale told reporters while on international duty at the China Cup: “It’s a great country with great people.

"In terms of the future I’m not too sure, I haven’t really looked that far to be honest.

"But I’m sure that if I ever did come I’ll be looked after very well.

"Whenever I come to China we always have such an amazing reception from the Chinese fans. They’ve been very welcoming to all of us, not just me. They look after us really well.”

Bales has another international outing for Wales as they come against Uruguay on Monday but will not be gracing this summer’s World Cup finals.
