Manchester United have reportedly made their first signing of the summer after agreeing a deal to sign Espanyol's Arnau Puigmal.Catalan paper Sport say 16-year-old Puigmal's representatives had no hesitation in accepting United's offer, which far exceeds the financial package he receives at Espanyol, according to the Mirror.A versatile central midfielder whose impressive physicality belies his young age, Puigmal works effectively at both ends of the pitch and has an eye for goal. The youngster, who was recently named MVP at the Mediterranean International Cup, was expected to break into Espanyol's senior side next season but will join United's youth set up, not their first team. Puigmal moved to Espanyol from Sant Cugat, north west of Barcelona, in 2010.United manager, meanwhile, is set to give a four of the club's youngsters the chance to prove themselves in the final match of the Premier League season.Speaking at his Friday press conference, he revealed: "I will bring three or four of the first teamers to play one half each on Sunday."The only positive is to save my players and give them the best possible conditions to be ready for Wednesday. It will be a good occasion for the kids but I repeat the best conditions for a debut is being surrounded by a strong structure."
