Manchester United welcome Southampton to Old Trafford looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League.

The Red Devils have won 12 of their 15 games since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December and are right in the mix of things for a top-four finish.

Team News

Manchester United manager Solskjaer welcome Marcus Rashford back to the starting eleven on Saturday after an ankle injury restricted him to a substitute's appearance in midweek.

Anthony Martial, who has been out with a groin injury, has an outside chance of featuring, while Marcos Rojo recovered from injury to make the bench for Red Devils' midweek trip to Selhurst Park and Argentina international are in contention to play a part on Saturday.

Southampton forward Danny Ings will miss a fourth consecutive match because of a hamstring problem but Nigerian descent Michael Obafemi has been ruled out for the season, while Mario Lemina remains sidelined by an abdominal complaint.

Head To Head

Man United have won only one of their five home Premier League games against Southampton since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, having previously won 13 out of 14.

The Saints have drawn their last two matches against the Red Devils, including a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture after leading 2-0 - they have not avoided defeat in three consecutively against them since May 1989.

In the history of the Premier League, United have come from behind to win eight matches against Southampton - a joint-record in the competition.

Managers Quotes

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: "We need to get back to winning ways at home. We've been fantastic away, but at home we've not scored in the last two.

"I'm sure Rom [Lukaku], Alexis [Sanchez] and Marcus [Rashford] - whoever is going to play up top - will get their chances to score."

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl: "In the moment it seems is very hard to take points at Old Trafford.

"But my team does not think in that way - we know we can be a good opponent in every stadium for every team, if we are very organised, as we showed against Chelsea for example, where it is not easy to take a point.

"I am positive - we had a very important win on Wednesday and now we go with not much pressure because nobody expects something from us."

Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Pereira, McTominay, Pogba; Alexis, Lukaku, Rashford

Southampton possible starting lineup: Gunn; Bednarek, Yoshida, Vestergaard; Valery, Ward-Prowse, Romeu, Hojbjerg, Bertrand; Armstrong, Redmond

Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Southampton
