Manchester City and PSG ready to meet Neymar buyout clause

Manchester and Paris Saint-Germain are set to meet Barcelona buyout clause for their attacker Neymar.

Both clubs are ready to cough out the €200million (£176.6million) release clause of Barcelona superstar Neymar, according to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola of Yahoo! Esportes and ESPN claims as per City Watch

If any of the clubs manage the feat it would be the biggest deal in world football and Neymar will be the most expensive player in the history.

The Brazilian forward is considered by many experts in the field to be the most marketable player in the sport.

Aside from the talent of the Barcelona forward on the pitch, his value off the pitch has attracted clubs like PSG and Manchester United.

Pep Guardiola understands that to make Manchester City a force to reckon with the club need to sign a global star and believes Neymar would be the appropriate star for the club.

It is reported that the world record fee is not the biggest obstacle for City and PSG, as strange as it sounds, but rather convincing the 25-year-old to leave Catalonia and the company of Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez.

The trio popularly known as MSN form a formidable attack over the past seasons and off the pitch Neymar also enjoys his lifestyle in Barcelona.

If either club could convince Neymar to make the switch, Barcelona would be powerless once either triggered his €200million release clause.

But at the moment no concrete deal has been triggered by both clubs.
