Manchester City summer arrivals have helped Cityzens to get their feet in the Premier League and turned them into formidable force once again, having gone 22 games undefeated in the Premier League.

Manchester City has finally found their rhythm under Pep Guardiola who is enjoying his second season in England after an average first season performance.

Manchester City brought in some players to get to where they are now and subsequently let go some players as well to get to this level. Many have started to see Pep Guardiola’s team as a world-class team though it is too early to jump into such conclusion knowing so well that Guardiola has not laid his hands on silverware with the Manchester City squad.

It will be right if we leave that until the end of the season before we judge, though they are likely to win one or two silverware the way the team is going.

Manchester City had to do away with players such as Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabaleta, Fernando Reges, Nolito, Aleksandar Kolarov, Willy Cabellero, Jesus Navas, Gael Clinchy etc in a bid reshape the team and drop those that are not in line with the club’s objectives.

Guardiola let go the aforementioned players and brought in the likes of Benjamin Mendy from AS Monaco, Danilo from Real Madrid, Kyle Walker from Tottenham Hotspur, Bernardo Silva from AS Monaco, and Ederson from Benfica.

Though Mendy sustained a season threatened injured at the start of the season that kept him on the sideline for more than half of the season but the few games he played he gave a superb performance, Danilo has been a good back up on both flanks and deliver his best when needed, Walker got the Premier League experience and he had no issues settling into his new team, Bernardo Silva continue to replicate the form that attracted City to sign him from Monaco and Ederson wasted no time to under Guardiola's style of goalkeeping and he fits in perfectly where Claudio Bravo struggled last season.

The players have helped Manchester City to look invincible in the league, having gone 22 games without defeat in the Premier League and in Europe they have turned to be one of the feared team and look differently from what they looked like last season.

The former Bayern Munich coach was able to get the right buy and the ideal replacement for the outgoing players and he ensured his buy fit into his style of play at the Etihad Stadium.

This winter Manchester City want to add more firepower to their attacker after Gabriel Jesus sustained an injury that has left Guardiola short of options in the attacking position with injury prone Sergio Aguero the only fit option in the central forward role.

Manchester City want Arsenal’s forward Alexis Sanchez to cover up for injured Brazilian striker Jesus and simultaneously they are also craving to sign former Manchester United centre-back Johnny Evans to cover for injured Vincent Kompany.

The West Bromwich defender might be the next player to play for both Manchester teams if he agreed to a deal to join the Etihad giants this winter.

His addition will be very advantageous to Manchester City as he will be eligible to play in the Champions League.

Yaya Toure might be shipped out at the end of the season having lost his place in the starting XI, with the emergence of Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva has really posed a threat to his place in the team.

It highly unlikely to let Vincent Kompany leave at the end of the campaign, the captain has been able to put in his best whenever fit and he has been the anchor the defence that was leaky and porous last season.

Eliaqium Mangala is another player that has been tipped to leave the Etihad Stadium at the start of the season having spent last season on loan with Valencia, but with the injury to John Stone and Kompany the French defender got a chance to prove himself and he has earned the trust of Guardiola with the opportunity he got.
