Lionel Messi has suggested the signing of Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero to Barcelona Board as Luis Suarez's replacement after it was confirmed that the striker will miss four months of action, according to report.
The skipper is keen on Barcelona making the signing before the end of the winter transfer market in a bid to reduce the weight of goal scoring that is placed on his shoulder.
Suarez will be out for four months due to knee surgery and the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Antonio Griezmann is yet to prove their worth at the Camp Nou.

Agüero, 31, has been told by Manchester City directors that he would be permitted to quit the Etihad outfit on his own terms after sealing a legendary status with the club he joined nine years ago from Atletico Madrid.
according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, while speaking on El Chiringuito.
Inda says the move has been suggested by Barca captain Leo Messi, who is concerned with the news that Luis Suarez will miss for four months after knee surgery.
"Messi has asked for a player, who he already asked for at the time when he wanted to leave Barça," said Inda.
"To those who are interested, he's asked for his signing and that player is Kun Agüero, who has an unbeatable relationship with (Pep) Guardiola, as well as much of the City dressing room.
"The player is 31 years old and he would run to them if Barca called him."
Up next for Barcelona is the clash against Granada in the La Liga on Sunday.
