Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is set to have a medical at Crystal Palace today, according to reports in Sky Sports News.
The midfielder is set to join Frank De Boer’s team on a season-long loan as he bids to get his career back on track in the Premier League.
A host of Premier League clubs, including Brighton and Southampton, were keen to sign the midfielder on loan but he is pleased to join Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace, who appeared to join the race at the last minute, stole the march on rival clubs to secure his signature as he looks set to become Frank de Boer’s first signing since taking over at the club.
Loftus-Cheek endured a tough season with the Premier League champions last season despite winning the Premier League title.
Despite Antonio Conte appearing to favour the youngster earlier on in the season, a number of niggling back injuries limited his game time at Stamford Bridge.
Conte has signed Antonio Rudiger from Roma and Willy Cabellero from Manchester City this summer as the team prepares for a pre-season tour in the United States.
