Edinson Cavani and Neymar strike were enough for Paris Saint- Germain to get the victory against Monaco on Sunday at the Stade Louis II in their French Ligue 1 match, though the home side scored a late goal through Joao Moutinho but it was not enough to prevent the league leaders from going away with all the points.
Monaco started with an offensive play but Balde Keita found himself in an offside position and a quick attempt from the former Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe but it went off target.
Both teams displayed their attacking prowess as PSG forward launched an attack that resulted in offside and on the other end Balde Keita made an attempt but it was off target.
Julian Draxler introduced himself with a strike but he failed to get the target in the 15th minute Monaco defence made an important block as they prevent Neymar’s strike from going in.
PSG finally broke the hurdle in the 19th minute as Edinson Cavani finished a fine move started by Draxler as Monaco fell behind by a goal at Stade Louis II.
PSG continued to press for the second goal of the night as Dani Alves was flagged offside, a yellow card was awarded to Layvin Kurzawa by the official in the 25th minute.
Falcao’s could have equalized for the host but his effort was blocked by the PSG defence, with just few
minutes to end the first half Falcao was presented an opportunity to shot but the strike was blocked by the covering defence.
And on the other end, Draxler’s effort was on target but the goalkeeper was equal to the task, Neymar got into the book of the referee as he was awarded a yellow card.

The second half started with the host trying to find the equalizer but PSG kept the pressure on the home team as Neymar’s effort hits the upright.
The world most expensive player Neymar got the second goal for PSG from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute as they comfortable take the lead.
Dani Alves almost got the third for the night but the keeper was up to the task, PSG is still showing more desire for more goals despite the lead as Kylian Mbappe was flagged offside.
The home team pushed for goal through Falcao but his finish was off target, PSG want the third goal as they more hunger through their offensive approach but it was Monaco that actually got the goal’
Joao Moutinho scored from the edge of the box for the Ligue 1 Champions, though the free kick went in through a deflection in the 81st minute.
The capital-based club made their first substitution of the night as Julian Draxler was replaced by Javier Pastore in the 82nd minute.
PSG coach Unai Emery made the second substitution with Angel di Maria replacing Edinson Cavani.
PSG was able to hold on to the lead as the League leaders went away with the maximum points to maintain their position in the League.
