Spanish forward Alvaro Morata wants to remain with Atletico Madrid as he aim to snub a move back to Chelsea for the next season campaign.
Morata is on loan from Chelsea following his move to the Stamford Bridge in 2017 from Real Madrid, there is talk that the former Juventus star might be recalled following the FIFA transfer ban this summer, that would prevent Chelsea from signing players in two window transfers.
Morata upset about the prospect of returning to Chelsea
Morata is not willing to make a return to the Premier League where he struggled for form, he told AS: "I do not know. There are contracts. My thing is to put myself on the field to play. What is clear is what I want. I want to be here and I will do everything possible to continue playing here.
"I did everything in my power to come and I will do everything in my power to stay here. I do not think of going anywhere. I'm happy here.
"The years that I have left to play at the highest level I want to be here.”
Morata wishes to continue with his childhood Atletico Madrid club after he found football fun again under Diego Simeone.
