Jose Mourinho has responded to rumor that Paul Pogba has been offered to Paris Saint-Germain and saying that he hopes the midfielder remains in Manchester United in the summer.

The 25-year-old has had a frustrating season at Old Trafford and the France international found himself out of Mourinho’s starting eleven for the first time at the beginning of February.

There have also been reports of a fallout between Portuguese coach and Pogba after public criticism from his manager following lackluster performances but former Juventus man bounced back in style by winning United’s Player of the Month award for April.

This hasn’t stopped the speculation linking Pogba with a summer exit, though, and the latest reports claimed that Mino Raiola offered the midfielder to PSG.

Asked about the recent rumours ahead of his side's clash with West Ham on Thursday night Mourinho responded:

"I think he is going to be here next season. That's my feeling," Mourinho said (via  Sky Sports). "I can give the guarantee that I don't want him to leave. I can give the guarantee that the club does not want to sell.

"And I can give the guarantee that we don't have any approach from him, from his agent, or any club. So in this moment, for me, he is staying."

Pogba has still amassed six goals and ten assists from midfield in the Premier League this season, a marked improvement on his end product from his first campaign since rejoining from Juventus in 2016.
