The Reports in The Times says Mourinho was dejected with the comments of Manchester United legend Paul Scholes when the former England midfielder expressed his shock that Mourinho has not been shown the exit door.
While Mourinho refused to hit back publicly, the words hurt him and he had hoped an official defence from the club would have been forthcoming and he also felt similarly let down when there was a little word from the club over his public battle with Paul Pogba.
Despite been let down, Mourinho is determined to bring back Manchester United to winning ways and he nurtured no plans to walk away or step down.
