NAP 1-2 JUV: Pjanic & Can help Juve extend lead

Miralem Pjanic and Emre Can helped Juventus to a 2-1 win against Napoli at the San Paolo Stadium on Sunday in the Serie A.

Juventus broke the deadlock with a Miralem Pjanic freekick in the 28th minute after Napoli goalkeeper Alex  Meret fouled Cristiano Ronaldo in the area and was sent off.

Milik was substituted for Ospina.

Napoli almost got the equaliser after a minute but the home team was denied by the woodwork.

Emre Can got the second goal for Juventus after a brilliant header in the 38th minute, the game was balanced in terms of domination.

The first half ended with Juventus in front with a scoreline of 2-0, 

The second half witnessed Pjanic sent off after he fouled in the midfield, he was given his marching order after receiving the second yellow card.

Napoli pushed out in the attack and in the 61st minute, Jose Callejon got one back for Napoli.

Allegri made his first change as Jao Cancelo was substituted for Mattia De Sciglio and in the 74th Mario Mandzukic paved way for Rodrigo Bentacur.

Juventus was fortunate not to concede the second goal after the home team crashed their effort to the pole in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot.

The game ended 2-1 in favour of Juventus as the extend their lead on Serie A table.
