Napoli 2- 4Man City: Aguero sets new record in City's win

Manchester City defeated Napoli 4-2 in their Champions League matchday 4 in Italy to maintain the top spot in the group standings as Sergio Aguero becomes the all-time leading goalscorer for the club after scoring the third goal.

Napoli set the ball rolling in the early minute as Hamsik fired a shot at Anderson but it's an easy save for Manchester City goalkeeper Aderson

Napoli finally broke the deadlock with Lorenzo Insigne strike after just 21 minutes of play. Aguero got the chance to score for City but his strike was blocked.

The home team was forced to early substitution as Faouzi Ghoulam was replaced by Christian Maggio.

Nicolas Otamendi equalized for Manchester City in the 34th minute as the visitors continue to press further for their second goal.

John Stones could have given City the lead but his effort crashed against the bar.

The first half of the encounter ended in stalemate.

Quick response from Manchester City saw them take the lead from John Stones’ effort in just a few minutes inside the second half.

Jorginho equalized for Napoli from the spot to level up the game after Leroy Sane fouled Raul Albiol in the area.

Callejon almost got Napoli the led as he forced City goalkeeper into fine a save. Aguero gave City the lead.

Pep Guardiola replaced David Silva for Ilkay Gundogan in the 71st minute and Bernardo Silva replaced Aguero with just 14 minutes remaining.

Raheem Sterling grabbed the fourth goal for Manchester City in the dying minute of the match to give the Cityzens a comfortable win.
