Napoli interested in ex- Real coach as Sarri set for exit

Napoli is interested in signing a former Real Madrid coach as Maurizio Sarri replacement in Italy, according to Marca.

The Italian outfit is willing to sign Carlo Ancelotti, and the ex-Real Madrid and AC Milan is set to give listening ears to Napoli, Ancelotti was sacked as Bayern coach before the appointment of Jupp Heynckes during the just concluded season.

Ancelotti has a vast knowledge of Italian football, he won titles with the likes of Juventus and AC Milan during his spell in Italian Football and in the Champions League he has achieved a lot, he is one of the few coaches that has won the European most covetous title with two different clubs.

He is seen as an ideal candidate to replace Sarri and can help Napoli stop the reign of Juventus in the Serie A and also transform the Neapolitan club into a major force in European football.

Ancelotti won the famous La Decima Champions League title for Real Madrid and also helped the La Liga outfit to UEFA Super Cup, FIFA World Cup Cup before he left for Bayern Munich's hot seat in 2016.
