The extent of the injury is yet unknown until a medical test is carried out to ascertain the time he would spend on the sidelines, injury of such magnitude takes two weeks and if this applies it means Neymar would miss the must-win Champions League match against Liverpool at the Parc des Princess.

Mbappe was also substituted after he fell and rested on his shoulder after he collided with Uruguayan shot-stopper.

The PSG attacker was examined by the medical team and he came back to the pitch but he could not carry on and in less than a minute he was withdrawn.

With the injury to both Neymar and Mbappe, Cavani will be the only player out of the trident to play against Liverpool in the Champions League.
