Neymar 'demands' sell of PSG teammate Cavani

Former Barcelona star Neymar has reportedly demanded that Paris Saint-Germain sell his strike partner Edinson Cavani, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

The explosive claim comes after Cavani and Neymar argued on the pitch over who would take a free kick and a penalty in Sunday's win over Caen.

PSG manager Unai Emery told them to "sort it out" themselves, but Sport report that "Neymar has already communicated to [CEO] Nasser Al-Khelaifi that his coexistence with Cavani is totally impossible."

This follows a cover story from French daily L'Equipe on Tuesday that said Cavani and Neymar nearly came to blows in the dressing room and had to be separated by teammates.

Now it remains to be seen if Neymar's €222 million price tag also comes with a stipulation that PSG accede to the Brazilian star's wishes.

The penalty spat also caught the attention of Nice striker Mario Balotelli, who posted the L'Equipe cover on Instagram, and directed a message at Neymar by writing over it: "You shouldn't even ask for shot them."
