La Liga club confirm signing Nigeria striker - FCNaija

Nigeria striker has expressed delight at signing for Las Palmas and is looking forward to playing in the ‘best league in the world against the best players’.

The 24-year old joined the La Liga club on a one-and-a-half-years contract as a free agent, having canceled his contract with Konyaspor in December.

“I am ready to play, but now it all depends on the coach. I am very happy to have signed at UD Las Palmas, it is a great opportunity for me to play in the best league in the world and against the best players,” Ezekiel told the Spanish media during his unveiling on Saturday.

“I will do everything possible to have a good season with UD Las Palmas.”

He has been unveiled to the Las Palmas fans and handed the number 14 jersey.

The former Nigeria U-23s star also recounted his ordeal at his previous club, Konyaspor.

“It was difficult for me to adapt to Turkish football, my family was not happy and that is why we decided to look for another club,” the Rio 2016 star explained.

“Also I was owed for several months there which made it more difficult.”
