Nigerian descent nominated for Sky Bet Player Of the Month

Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month after his performance for November 2018.

The 21-year-old Aston Villa striker has been shortlisted for the award along with Joe Lolley (Nottingham Forest), Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) and Darren Randolph (Middlesbrough).

Abraham who currently on season-long loan from the dethroned Premier League Champions Chelsea bagged six times in just four games for Aston Villa, which included a four-goal haul against Nottingham Forest in a 5-5 draw at Villa Park the EFL stated on their official website.

Only Lewis Grabban (Nottm Forest) and Neal Maupay (Brentford) have scored more goals than Abraham in the Championship in the 2018-19 campaign.
