Goals from the Nigerian duo of Reuben Gabriel and Gbolahan Salami on Friday helped Veikkausliiga side KuPS to register their fourth win in the new season as they edged Lahti 2-1.

While Friday's effort was the ninth goal of the season in all competitions for ex-Warri Wolves striker, Salami it was just the first for Reuben whose injury woes never allowed his to blossom as expected while still playing on the home front with Kano Pillars.

Rueben played all 90 minutes for KuPS on Friday same as ex-Warri Wolves skipper Azubuike Egwuekwe who was a colosal figure in the defense.

On his part, Salami was replaced in the 80th minute.

With these laetst three points, KuPS are at the moment occupying the third position on the table after seven games.
