Nigerian midfielder sacked by his club in Sweden

Nigerian midfielder Moses Makinde has been sacked by his Swedish club Syrianska FC according to report from the club website.

The 26-year-old versatile player made 15 appearances over the course of the 2018 season, including the playoffs, logging 1,076 minutes as Syrianska FC earned promotion to the Swedish second-tier.

Makinde is among five other players released by the Superettan club head of the start of the 2019 season.

Makinde joined Syrianska FC in April 2018 after spells with teams based in United States of America, England, Germany and Romania.
