Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, was ecstatic after helping French club, Lille OSC stir away from relegation waters following a hard fought 2-1 win against Nancy.

The home side needed a victory to move away from the drop zone and gave themselves hope when Senegalese star Issiar Dia gave them a first half lead.

However, Lille came on stronger in the second period and Nicolas de Préville equalized for Enyeama’s team before Rony Lopes netted from the penalty spot to secure a vital three points.

Lille have jumped to 14th on the Ligue 1 log with 33 points after 29 matches so far this season while sit 18th with 28 points from the same number of games.
