Nigerian striker returns to former club after Enyimba spell

Nigeria striker Mfon Udoh has returned to former club Akwa United after a five spell with Enyimba FC comes to end according to ScoreNigeria.

The 26-year-old club captain contract expired immediately after the end of the of the 2017/2018 season and he has already resumed training with the Uyo based NPFL team.

Akwa United have also recruited Brazilian Rafael Everton coach to replace departed Abdu Maikaba, who has team-up dethroned Nigerian Champion Plateau United.

Udoh is an all-time NPFL record of 23 goals in a single season in 2014 and was also top scorer during the 2016 CAF Champions League with 9 goals.
