El-Kanemi Warriors FC have dropped 15 players and retained 25 ahead of the new season and are also on the verge of unveiling former Rangers manager Imama Amapakabo as lssah Ladan Bosso replacement.
In a statement sent to Daily Sports, the Club’s Media Manager, Anthony Obaseki, informed that the coach had a good working relationship with the management during his two years stay with the team.
“I want to state categorically and clearly too, that the news making the rounds that El-Kanemi Warriors FC sacked coach Bosso never emanated from the Management of the Maiduguri based side as there is no iota of truth in the entire fabricated write up, a typical show of yellow journalism.
“Never was he sacked, just that he has served out his two years contract with the team and the contract expired last month and the board did not renew it, which is normal. It will be wrong for anybody to stay in the comfort of his room to make such wicked and unfounded conclusions.
