Ogunbote: Hard work and self-belief is the tonic at Rangers - FCNaija

Enugu Rangers head coach Olugbenga Ogunbote has rued his side's wastefulness during Sunday's NPFL clash against Kano Pillars at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

Rangers were just on the verge of coming away with maximum points when Junior Lokosa struck a late equaliser to bring visiting Kano Pillars back on level terms as both sides settled for the share of the spoils at The Cathedral on Sunday.

After watching from the touchline as his lads squandered a handful of chances against the boys from the North, Ogunbote who led Enyimba to a continental spot finish last term said: "I think we were wasteful in the game. You can count the number of chances we created that we did not make use of.

"The result is the prize for wastefulness. Yes, we drew at home and lost two points and there is nothing stopping us from going away to make some good points."

The draw takes Kano Pillars to the top of the pile with 17 points and a better goal difference than second-placed Enyimba who have same number of points.
