Enyimba compound Lobi Stars to second loss after a 3-1 win at their ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League Championship (NPFL) Super Six playoff tie at the Agege Stadium.

Abdulrahman Bashir puts the Peoples Elephant ahead 39 minutes of play before Stanley Dimgba extend the lead for the Aba-based team with a quick-fire a minute's later.

Lobi gives themselves a fighting chance as Samuel Mathias's long-range effort beats Enyimba Theophilus Afelokhai in the last kick of first half in the Soccer Temple Stadium.

Big chance for Enyimba to extend their lead as Dimgba lobs the ball over the current champions stopper Kayode Olufemi and it drops but Joesph Osadiaye cannot reach it.

However, The Peoples Elephant restore their two-goal cushion as Dimgba gets his second in the encounter after he nods in Reuben Bala's cross in the 69 minutes to make 3-1.

Lobi chance as Michael Stephen goes for the spectacular and his attempt from close goes off target but the Markudi side could found back of the net as the center- referee ends the match.

Enyimba now have six points from three games taking on Ifeanyi Ubah on Monday night, while Lobi Stars with three points battle league toppers Kano Pillars in the same day.
