Wikki Tourists manager Bala Nikyu says he is not disappointed with his side's heavy fall to Rangers International and the outcome of the game 'was destined to happen'.

Two second-half goals from Christian Madu and Kelvin Itoya plus Godwin Aguda's first-half opener condemned Nikyu's men to their ninth defeat following a 3-0 defeat in a NPFL match-day 19 fixture in Enugu.

Nikyu in a post-match reaction said: "Well, nobody would expect this kind of result in a match having started well.

"In the first ten minutes when we threw away two glaring chances, I knew something will happen. Football is a very funny kind of sports.

"There are times you will play badly and still win and sometimes, you play well and lose. I am not disappointed with the performance of my players today.

"I believe it was destined to happen this way." said the gaffer of the Bauchi side

Wikki who sit 17th in the 20-team NPFL table have managed to just 18 points from 17 league fixtures (W6D3L9).
