NPFL: Rangers dim Sunshine Stars to go top

Enugu Rangers are back at the summit of the Nigeria Professional Football League table after they posted a 2-0 win over Sunshine Stars in Sunday's game at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu.

Two goals from Bobby Clement was all the Flying Antelopes required to secure all three points and return to the number one position on the NPFL standings with two games left to go.

Clement got the opener in the tension-soaked encounter in the 37th minute after he was set up by Ocheme Edoh.

The bug striker who was voted man-of-the-match completed his brace early in the second half as Rangers increased their points tally to 57 points from 34 games.
