Kano Pillars defender, Chinedu Udoji has declared his readiness to help the former league champions improve on their current position on the table as the second phase of the season commences tomorrow.
The former Enyimba captain moved to the Masu Gida side at the start of the season but it hasn’t been a fine campaign so far as the team is currently placed 11th on the Nigeria Professional League (NPFL) log.Read Also | Herrera names EPL's best player. And it's not Zlatan
However, Udoji believes that Kano Pillars will bounce back in the second stanza of the league starting with a trip to face Niger Tornadoes in Minna.
“The season has been very difficult for us but I’m confident that the second stanza will be different,” he was quoted as saying by SportingLife.
“We are determined to do ourselves and fans proud by giving our best.”
He continued: “Playing Tornadoes away from home is always difficult but by the grace of God we will come out with a very positive result.”
