Odemwingie feels he is still better to be in Super Eagles

Former Super Eagles forward, Osaze Odemwingie has indicated that he feel he is still good enough to be in Gernot Rohr World Cup squad in Russia.

The 36-year-old was born in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR which is under the now-defunct Soviet Union to a Nigerian father and a Russian mother said he will travel to Russia to meet his mum and support the three-time African Champions.

Ex-West Brom, Stoke City, and Bendel Insurance striker he is in the Eurasian country now as a media worker while supporting Nigeria and a host of other countries as he tweeted.

Odemwingie made 63 appearances for Super Eagles scoring 10 goals including at two World Cups and four Africa Cup of Nations, as well as winning silver at the 2008 Olympics.
