OFFICIAL: Barcelona sign another player

Barcelona has signed another player, according to a report in Spain.

The La Liga champions completed the signing of Senegal international full-back Moussa Wague from Eupen.

Wague,19 was part of the country’s World Cup campaign in Russia,  he scored in the 2-2 draw against Japan, becoming the youngest African goalscorer in the tournament’s history.

The Camp Nou team paid a region of €5m while his long-term deal at the Catalan giants will include a €100m release clause.

Barcelona want to give Sergi Roberto an opportunity to play central midfielder and see Wague challenge Nelson Samedo for a first-team action at the right back.

Wague signed for Eupen last season from Qatar’s Aspire Academy and has made a total of 52 professional appearances for club and country.

He would initially be placed in the Barcelona B team before challenging for a first-team place under Ernesto Valverde.
