On-loan Barcelona star Munir El-Haddadi has confirmed that he is desperate to represent Morocco at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The 22-year-old Munir who is currently on to Alaves
having spent the previous season on loan to Valencia but the youngster has netted in three goals in 12 La Liga appearances this season for the relegated threating side.
The attacker who has one cap for Spain but still qualifies to play for Atlas Lions through Moroccan heritage on his father’s side, but his participation with the African nation at the World Cup next summer hinges on whether FIFA will give him a special dispensation, having already represented La Roja in a Euro 2016 qualifier.

"I'd like to play for Morocco at the World Cup," Munir confirmed to EFE.
Morocco will be present at the finals of a World Cup for the first time since 1998.
