Perez gives Zidane ultimatum about January signing - FCNaija

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has issued an ultimatum to coach Zinedine Zidane to convince him about his decision of rejecting to sign a new player this January despite series of poor result this season, according to report.

Perez has given  Zidane the month of January to convince him that the team does not need reinforcements following the lacks of goals from the Real Madrid forward.

Real Madrid back on Mauro Icardi pursuit 

Real Madrid suffered a 1-0 defeat against Villarreal on Saturday at the Ceramica Stadium in La Liga which has piled pressure on Zidane.

Real Madrid board has suggested Inter Milan forward should be added to the squad to replacing misfiring Karim Benzema at the centre-forward but Zidane is adamant and he wants to stick with his present team.

Icardi will be available for if Real Madrid can come up with over €100 million for the Argentine forward who has already passed medicals at Bernabeu secretly last year, according to Diario Gol.

The 24-year-old Argentine has scored 18 goals for Inter Milan in 22 games this season.

Zidane has few games left to convince Perez who is dire need to reinforce the team and ensure they return to winning ways.
