Gerard Pique is set for his 500th appearance for Barcelona when he takes against Real Betis at the Camp Nou on Sunday evening.
Pique has been a reliable player since he rejoined the Camp Nou outfit from Manchester United, he is the eighth player in Barcelona's all-time appearances ranking.
Pique was played under Sir Alex Ferguson in Manchester United but Pep Guardiola re-signed him back to Barcelona in 2008. he was a backup defender to Rafa Marquez and Carles Puyol.

Pique got his chance alongside Carles Puyol in the starting line-up and he hasn't looked back since.
The 32-year-old centre back gained the trust of the various manager he has worked with, ranging from Guardiola, Tito Villanova, Tata Martino, Luis Enrique to Ernesto Valverde and he has partnered with the likes Marquez, Puyol, Javier Mascherano, Samuel Umtiti and Clement Lenglet in the heart of the defence.
Ever since his debut in August 2008, Pique has aimed high and will continue to do so as he looks to overtake Victor Valdes' record of 535 games. The central defender has won 29 trophies in the process.
