PSG 6-2 Bordeaux: Neymar brace help Parisians sink Girondins

Neymar double help Paris Saint-Germain to a 6-2 comfortable win over Bordeaux in Parc des Princes on Saturday afternoon in the week eight of the Ligue 1.

PSG got the six goals from Neymar, Edison Cavani, Julian Draxler, Thomas Meunier and Kylian Mbappe as the dethroned champions continue superlative performance after dismantling Bayern Munich on last Wednesday in the Champions League.

Brazilian superstar Neymar put home in front early 5 minutes from a stunning free kick and Edison Cavani get the second 7 minutes later with lovely assist from Neymar before the Belgian defender Meunier gets on the score sheet to make 3-0  in 21 minutes

Bordeaux pulls one back Younousse Sankhare and Neymar get his second from the spot to make 4-1 after the visiting team midfielder Otavio handle the ball inside the box.

German winger Draxler scores a spectacular volley after Mbappe puts the cross in to make 5-1 going into the break which they dominate the first half.

Second Half 

PSG continue where they left off as Draxler dribbles past his opponents and put through ball to 19-year-old sensation Mbappe to score in the 58th minutes to make 6-1.

Brazilian international Malcom close on scoring in the 59 minutes with a shoot as PSG keeper saves it three minutes later Cavani was been replaced by another South American Angel Di Maria making his return from injury he sustains in Argentina last month during the international break.

Di Maria takes a direct freekick, but the shot goes wide some minutes Alexandre Mendy hits the post 69th minutes after Malcom find him inside the box.

Neymar provides good through ball on 86 minutes as Di Maria shoots were saved by visiting keeper as the scores still remain 5-1 before Bordeaux get their second goal of the match from the penalty after Meunier fouled Jonathan Cafu in the box to make 6-2. with four minutes injury time remaining.

PSG travel to Dijon after the international break where they are leading the Ligue 1 table with 22 points from eight games.
