Mourinho completes deal for Juventus star after FA Cup final

Who will finally win the race in signing this exciting player?

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News (via Sportskeeda), Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred this summer. The Brazilian has been extensively linked with a move away from the club.

Since his arrival at Shakhtar in 2013 from Brazilian club Internacional, Fred has enjoyed a meteoric rise to his career. He has evolved to be their midfield enforcer and has made over 150 appearances for the club in all competitions.

He has been in brilliant form this season and as a result, he has been included in Brazil's 23-man squad for the FIFA World Cup. His contract with the Ukranian club runs out only in 2023 but as per the report, he has a £52.89 million release clause included in it.
