PSG offer Mbappe double Real Madrid’s £100k-a-week deal

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered AS Monaco ace Kylian Mbappe double the wages Real Madrid have in a bid to snatch him, according to reports in France.

L’Equipe as per SunSports claim the Ligue 1 side have held a face-to-face talk between the French international, his father, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the club’s sporting director Antero Henrique.

Qatar-backed PSG have offered Mbappe £200,000-a-week wages while the Galacticos have only offered him £100,000-a-week

Mbappe’s hero, Zinedine Zidane has met with the Monaco starlet and promised him first-team action as he bids to make France’s 2018 World Cup squad.

And Monaco – if they cannot cling on to their prize asset – would prefer to sell to a side outside of the French top flight.

The principality club have offered the 18-year-old £150k-a-week, to put him joint-top of the squad earners list alongside former Chelsea and Manchester United man Radamel Falcao.

Mbappe and his father have been seduced by the wild wages PSG have offered but they do have concerns about the teenager’s career if he moves to France.

Father and son apparently want to know how manager Unai Emery will set his team up next season, to ensure Mbappe can play to his best.
