PSG plan £130m world record bid for Real Madrid star

French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly lining up a  world record bid £130m bid for Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio.

The 21-year-old Asensio became a Real Madrid player in 2014, but the Spaniard had loan spells at Mallorca and Espanyol before returning to Madrid for the start of the 2016-17 campaign.

The youngster net in 10 goals in all competitions for Los Blancos last season he added as many goals in that year's UEFA Champions League, including one in the final against Juventus FC (4–1 in Cardiff) to give the Spaniards their twelfth title in the competition.

Asensio also starred for Spain Under-21s at the Under-21 European Championships earlier this summer, with the attacker inspiring his team to the final of the competition.

According to Don Balon, PSG is firm admirers of the attacker's talents, and the French giants are prepared to pay £130m in order to convince Real Madrid to part with the Spaniard in this summer's transfer window.

Asensio featured 23 times over his first season, scoring three times as the club won the La Liga for the first time since 2012.
